THE Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica, the Jamaica Bankers
Association, and the Jamaica Exporters Association will, on
Wednesday, host their first joint luncheon since the consolidation
of the three secretariats last year.
The associations said that that the luncheon, to be held at
the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel, "is one of the ways in which
we seek to foster improved partnerships and networking opportunities
for our members".
Guest speaker will be Delano Franklyn, Author and Minister of
State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.
Franklyn is expected to address a range of issues related to
Jamaica's involvement in trade negotiations -- from the Free
Trade Area of the Americas, to Caricom's agreement with Canada,
Costa Rica and Venezuela; and the impact of globalisation. |
